Very finely made jewelry piece made by prominent Zuni artist Charlotte Dishta, known for her originality and craftsmanship. An early and unique work. 2′ braided leather cord. The pheasant represents prosperity, good luck and aid in times of need. I acquired the piece in a visit to the Phoenix, AZ area in the early 80’s. It is ID’d by DISH ZUNI sterling stamped under the clasp.
