The ritual robe is based on the cleric vestments. It is very wide – draping in a majestic way -and reaches to the ground. It is not a closed robe but a kind of cape without sleeves. You can just throw it over your other garments for this extra bit of warmth and style.
The cape is the perfect addition to your Wiccan clothing. You can use it as a druid robe, a pagan ritual robe or even priest vestment.
The special thing about this cape is the side parts, which are a bit shorter. You can drape them over your arm and have freedom of movement, warmth and a regal attire all at once. Unlike a normal cape, you will not have to deal with the fabric getting in the way while you perform rituals or just move around. For better movement, the cape will be a bit shorter in front than in back.
Due to the cut, the cape can be floor length for every size and height. Even a train is possible. it even does fit a couple of people as long as they are basically the same height.
The cape has a large hood with a pointed end. It is adorned with matching trim around the front opening and the hood. I will show you a couple of trims to choose from when we get to make this cloak. The trim is included in the listing.
With a contrasting lining, you can even add to the special feeling of this cloak.
The metal fastening is not part of the offer but I can add one for a little bit extra.

FABRIC:
As I make this cape for you, you can choose from a range of fabrics. If you do not find the fabric you would like to have in the menu, please write me.
You pick the main fabric in the first menu and the lining in the second.
Cotton (100% cotton): a middleweight fabric. Great to wear even in a hot climate or indoors and easy to clean.
Fleece (100% polyester): warm, great drape, easy to clean and inexpensive. This is a great choice for a costume.
linen (100%): a bit heavier than cotton. Linen is great in summer or warm rooms. It will look very authentic with its wrinkles.
cotton velvet (100% cotton): for a really luxurious cape! Heavy fabric in brilliant colors with a great drape.
wool (100% wool): the best choice for a really warm and weatherproof cape. Wool is not available in pure white!
LINING:
You can add a lining to your cape. This looks great in a contrasting fabric. A word of warning: the wool cape is quite heavy in itself and will become really heavy with any lining.
Pick you lining from the second menu.
Satin (100% polyester): a sleek fabric with a lot of shine. Available in many colors.
Silk Ponge (100% silk): a light, sleek fabric with a bit of luster. Available in choice colors.
