A perfect gift for any occasion, these sleek customized sterling silver tie bars add just the right touch of class and sophistication to anyone’s wardrobe. Each handmade tie bar features a slim profile with a rounded beveled edge and a smooth lightly-polished finish. Custom messages are carefully hand stamped into the silver one letterform at a time — not machine engraved — to give the tie bar a truly personal and tactile finish! They are also individually hand formed to ensure the perfect level of tension for a snug and secure fit that will keep your tie in place without catching on your shirts or snagging the luxurious material of your tie.
To use your tie bar, simply slide it over your tie and shirt, and it will stay in place. DO NOT PRY THE TIE BAR OPEN. Doing so may damage the tie bar and will eliminate the tension that allows the tie bar to operate properly.
Personalized Tie Bar Specifications:
— Handmade in my Cleveland, Ohio studio.
— Solid sterling silver.
— Measures 2 inches long x 5/32 inches wide (approx. 50.5mm x 4mm), the standard width for a standard 3.25 inch-wide necktie.
— Stamping is ONLY available on the smooth polished finish because alphanumeric characters are illegible when stamped over hammered textures. This is firm.
— Front stamping is always right aligned and has a 15 character limit. This is firm.
— Back stamping is always centered and has a 15 character limit. This is firm.
— Orders with custom stamping requests that exceed the above character limits cannot be completed and will be cancelled.
— Alphanumeric characters measure approximately 2mm tall and are all upper-case.
A few additional notes:
🔹Custom stamped tie bars are non-returnable and non-refundable due to the personalized nature of the names, dates, and messages being hand stamped into the silver.
🔹The word “and” may be substituted with an ampersand, and hyphens in dates are always substituted with periods, for the purpose of conserving space for your custom messages.
🔹If you need a tie bar for a skinny tie, these tie bars can absolutely be custom made in different lengths upon request! Just message me with the measurements you need before placing your order and I’m happy to accommodate! Character limits for personalizations will differ depending on how long or short you need your tie bar to be.
🔹ALL TIE BARS ARE MADE TO ORDER, so please allow 1 – 2 weeks production time from your purchase date before your tie bar ships out. – A traditional guideline for tie bar placement is to secure your tie between the third and forth buttons of your shirt.
– Your tie bar should not be wider than your tie. A general rule of practice to finding the proper tie bar width is for your tie bar to extend anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 of the way across the width of your tie.
