Rococo Wig Cage – 8″ / 12″ tall

Hand-made rococo wig cage for use in making styled rococo wigs.

This wig cage is handmade with cotton-wrapped millinery wire and polyester mesh fabric, creating a lightweight and sturdy frame for use in styling elevated rococo wig shapes.

**What is it for?**

It is designed to be used to create tall wigs without the extra weight. It can be re-used for multiple wigs and styles.

**What is it made of?**

It is lightweight and sturdy, crafted from a grid of cotton-wrapped millinery wire. The mesh fabric used to coat the wig cage acts as a perfect base for attaching hair to the cage using pins and grips attached through this mesh layer.

This wig cage is entirely handmade – not machine-made! – and there are variations in the exact measurements, folding and stitching. This has been photographed accurately in the listing. Please note that although the stitching is irregular, the cage and structure are very much secure.

20cm/8″ option –
Height from forehead to top: 18-20cm/ 7.5 – 8″
Height from nape to top: 28-30cm/ 11 – 12″
Circumference of base circle: 53cm/ 21″

30cm/ 12″ option –
Height from forehead to top: 25-28cm/ 10 – 11″
Height from nape to top: 35-38cm/ 14-15″
Circumference of base circle: 53cm/ 21″

These wig cages will fit ALL wigs and head sizes. Simply block your wig to the appropriate sized head, then attach the wig cage approximately 2″ back from the hairline.

**What is included with this product?**

Please note that the product for sale is the *wig cage* only, and not a fully styled wig. The wigs photographed here have been shown as examples of the kinds of styles you can create using this wig cage.

Absolutely! This cage and others can be made-to-order in custom colours, for better colour-matching with your wig of choice.
