Skulldog Fursuit and Cosplay Base / Mask High Quality ABS
I offer very high quality bases and masks to support you in the production of your desired fursuit, cosplay or fantasy.
All my bases are manufactured as one piece (not glued together), besides the teeth, eye blanks etc. of course. 3D printed bases are also ideal for beginners, it’s not the same hassle than with foam bases and you can be sure you have success and you will have a much airier feeling inside.
The base is made of ABS and is therefore of very high quality and lightweight. ABS is not brittle, very robust and easy to process, e.g. grinding, forming and gluing, much better than usual printing materials, which is why it is often used in the automotive industry. It’s very heat resistant, not like PLA, you can leave it without problems in summer in your car, storage box etc. and it’s made as one piece, nothing clued together, so very stable and no weak spots.
Please look at the photos with ruler for size comparison (ruler is in mm), approx. dimensions 9.5 inch width, 12.6 inch length and 9.3 inch height. So this base is really big. Please also note the minimum thickness of the walls, this is a very stubborn version and the walls have at least a thickness of approx. 0.25 inch (6mm).
The base comes in three parties, the jaw, the head and the upper close head. In my pictures you can see a gap between the upper parts, this is just because I just put it together with some maskign tap and didn’t glued it together. It will also be shipped in this way. The upper part is optional- if you’re going to add fur/ears to the head you won’t need it. You can use is as “fixed jaw”, “articulated jaw” or “talk jaw” Fixing points for all versions are available.
Special requests can be fulfilled, e.g. size adjustment or surface finish (e.g. chemical smoothing, then the base gets a high-gloss finish). Just ask, I’m happy to help.
The approximate weight of this base is 580g.
