Vintage 50s 60s Necktie Signed Happy Birthday The 12 Signs of the Zodiac – All Silk G. S. Harvale & Co New York 54″ Long from FashionPuss.

It looks like this company mainly specialized in preppy, more traditional prints (they made ties for Harvard) – this one is odd in that it’s actually signed in the print “HAPPY BIRTHDAY The Twelve Signs of the Zodiac”on the small end.The deep chocolate brown silk twill is (no surprise) symmetrically scattered with all the various signs of the zodiac done in a deep raspberry red color. It’s fully lined with cream colored silk.

Tag reads:G. S. Harvale & Co., Fifth Avenue, New York PURE SILK

CONDITION – This tie is from an estate and has not been dry cleaned It’s a bit wrinkled but once ironed, it’s perfectly wearable as is without issues – no stains, snags, odors or other signs of wear.

SIZE: 54″ long from end to end – 3 1/2″ across the widest points of face – 1″ across the back of the neck – 2 ” across the widest point of the smaller end (which is also printed with the snails).
